Early Life and Family Background
Ada Lovelace was born in London, England, on December 10, 1815. Lord Byron, a poet, was her father, and Lady Anne Isabella Milbanke was her mother.
But just five weeks after Ada was born, her parents broke up. Her father left the country and never came back.
Ada grew up without a father figure because of this. Her mother, who was interested in math and science, made sure that Ada got an education in these areas, which was unusual for girls at the time.
Education and Early Work

This algorithm is thought to be the first computer program because it was made to be run by a computer.
Lovelace's work on the analytical engine was a big deal because it showed how computers could be used to do complicated calculations. She also thought that machines could be used to make music, art, and other creative things.
